Almost as rewarding as the smile on a patient's face when they leave an appointment feeling better about the mobility and freedom they now enjoy are the words of praise and thanks we receive from our patients for the same reason that they are kind enough to share with us and with you.

“My horse had a fall and broke the carpus in his left leg, a very serious fracture. Drew Hittenberger paid a visit to my barn to consult with my veterinarian regarding the construction of a brace the horse could wear during rehabilitation. His advice was invaluable and my vet said that he has an expertise that only a handful of people in the U.S. share. It was incredible that I would have been so fortunate at his willingness to help in such an unusual situation and to think “outside the box”. Months later, I brought my 85 year old Mother to him to consult about orthotics for her. He handled her with the same kindness, attention and knowledge for which he is renowned. He is one of a kind. I can say without any hesitation that Drew Hittenberger is a special, rare, creative solver of problems from the simple challenge to the complex.”Patient

As we waited for our first consultation, we checked out the various framed newspaper articles displayed around the exam room, and began to realize that this was someone who was exceptionally dedicated to his art. After he reviewed the numerous steps involved in the construction of Mark’s new leg, we were sure that we had found the right guy, and that we would be in good hands.
“Mark is on MediCal. (Drew) and his wonderful staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to do the unending paperwork necessary to get approvals and reimbursements. We feel very lucky to have found someone who was willing to go to bat for us, with the skill and dedication to create and outstanding product. More »I can still walk, work, and carry heavy loads pain free. Jon W.×
About 9 months ago my orthopedic ankle surgeon referred me to Drew for two reasons:
1: I need ankle replacement surgery and am only 62.
2: The 2-step surgery has a 9-month recovery time and I can’t be out of work for that long.
As a contractor I need to be able to walk and carry 60 pounds or more on a regular basis. Drew explained how an ankle brace might benefit me but that there was no guarantee. The brace would cost $1200 and my insurance couldn’t pay any of it. Since I really couldn’t walk I decided to take a chance and get it.
It was the best thing I could have done. It was ready in about a month after ordering it. I was able to walk without pain right away. I wear it 90% of the time. It fits most of my footware without looking too weird. After 9 months of wearing it, I can still walk, work, and carry heavy loads pain free.”Jon W.
Right away, Drew was quick to reassure me that I’d be able to live just like I’d lived before the accident. He made me feel so comfortable. Gordon, transfemoral (above the knee) amputee
